Botanical Gardens

Daddy took John David and I to Botanical Gardens today.....

John David loved playing in the rock fountains...

Mom was quite amused herself! ha

And he's OFF...he's right there in the center...red shorts...he has no fear of losing his parents that's for sure....

Dad played a not-so-nice trick on the little guy.....

Then he learned how to do it himself.

This is a very cool little town with Bonsai trees, a train, and house with very little people.....very cool! Then it was time to go home....

But the fun always continues...this picture is a bit fuzzy, but if you can tell.....
... his diaper is still stuck around his waist but dangling.....
I really hope these pictures do this justice....I laughed till I got teary eyed....

Memorial Day Fun!

We had tons of fun this Memorial Day! Daddy was home all day and we got to do all kinds of fun things.....first we went to the park, then we got in the pool....

...his whole entire head got into the pool....
...he must have liked it...


... then we got into a little trouble.....

but then the ice-cream man came by and we got a yummy yummy treat!

A good ending to a good day!

Very late Birthday Party Pics...

So I realized that I never put pictures up of John David's Birthday party here in Alabama....here they are a month and a half late:-)

(I've been sick with this pregnancy, but now am feeling tons and tons better and just trying to catch up!!)

We celebrated with Grammy, Pops, and Uncle Seth....

I just don't think the no playing ball in the house rule is going to be for this family:-)~

I tried.....it just doesn't work for either son or husband!

Two year Anniversary!

David and I celebrating our two year anniversary!
We went to a yummy, fancy steak restaurant....it worked out well, David got great food and I got to dress up :-)~

.....by the way, mom and dad, that is a sparkling water bottle on the table:-)

You may wonder why I took a picture of the water....well this is just a little fun tidbit....when you go to a fancy restaurant, don't get the sparkling water....one, it costs a chunk of change(we didn't know) and two, it was pretty gross.....it tasted like old, hot, watered down sprite:-)! Just our opinion:-) So, anyways....the reason for the picture was that we paid for the water and wanted to get our money's worth...so since the taste was a bit dull for us, we took a picture.....atleast it was pretty!

We went for a walk in this park the night we got engaged!

David thinks he's quite the stud.....some things never change!

The night David proposed he took me by this beautiful weeping willow. It was just like in the picture...ducks everywhere and the weather was gorgeous... By the way he was acting I thought surely he was going to ask me to marry me him here.....well, he didn't...he tricked me! But, I still love this tree! It's a pretty little place!
Then we went home, snuggled on the couch, and watched our wedding video!

My husband is so wonderful. God has greatly blessed....and if I must say so myself, David's pretty blessed himself:-) hah!

Our Little Reader?!

John David got in his toy basket and decided to read a book today. I was very proud:-) The book was upside down, but hey, you have to start somewhere!

Wow! It's been a long time since I've been on this thing...We are still alive and kickin', don't worry! The sad thing is I really don't have many good, fun pictures to put up! Here's the reason: Our life has changed! Yep, that's right...totally changed...how you ask?! Well, John David is not only walking, but practically running. So what does that have to do with pictures?! I only have two hands and two feet. I can't run after him, catch him, and take a picture all while holding our things and doing whatever it is we are doing....so that's why there hasn't been pictures in a while. I will take some more soon, I'm sure....and when I do...I'll post them! But for now, You're just stuck with this one measly picture of John David in pants way too small for him! We laughed and laughed when we put these on the little guy....the sad thing is we continue for him to wear these and many like them....I just figure why buy him new ones when he will outgrow them in a week or maybe even a night....plus why change something that just makes mom and dad laugh?! No harm in a little laughter, right?! :-) Anyways....maybe you'll get a kick out of this pic as much as we did! Enjoy!
