Abandon

As you guys know, David and I have been working with the college at our church...the group has really been praying about starting a week night worship service. The first service was this past Thursday. (This tug of war game was a little object lesson) We'd love to have all of your prayers as the Lord is really working in the lives of all of us. The service is called Abandon and will be every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 8 pm. We cherish your prayers!
Our worship leader couldn't be there...David got to fill in:-) He did well! But pray for the worship leader...he really wants to lead us...so pray his schedule will allow it! David will be speaking at some of the services, but we're praying for lots of Godly speakers to come our way and share with us!

So I'll stand with arms high and heart abandoned in awe of the One who gave it all
Practice:-)

Everyday is a blast!

My two good lookin guys! I love this picture!!
Look who's almost walking! Not too much longer! I'm not sure if that's good for me or not:-)
I thought I'd share with you guys what I see all day long every day:-) hehe!

Grandma and Grandpa Visits!!

Thank ya'll for coming and playing with us!
We love you both tons and tons!! We already miss you!!
At the playplace at the mall!

Grandma and Grandpa got this cool hat for John David. They said it reminded them of Papa Wards hat! Watch out, Papa Ward, he sure does look handsome in it!

John David's new favorite thing: Eating Chick-fil-A icecreams!! He LOVED it! I may have started something! oops:-)

Happy Birthday Mama!!

I love my daddy!

John David and I at his 9 month check up. Everything was awesome. He was 23lbs. 14 oz.. He was in the 90th percentile in weight. And 95th percentile in height. The Dr. said all was great except that he was going to be an expensive one to feed and keep up with!

PASSION 07

Colossians 1:6
All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing...
Some of our group!
24,000 college students and youngs adults from across the world praising Jesus Christ.

Dowtown Atlanta at night with all the lights..I'm pointing to our hotel!
Family Groups met together and talked about what the Lord was doing in their lives and ways we could pray for each other! God did amazing things through these groups of strangers that were united as family through the Lord! Our Family group worship leader was Shane Barnard!
The streets were crazy crowded!

People as far as the eye can see!

Our view from the hotel room!

Our hotel was the tall round building! It was so crowded that on check out morning it took 55 minutes waiting and switching elevators to get to the bottom!
This was the people just tring to find some food!!
Beth Moore

The streets of dowtown Atlanta filled with people who were thirsting, searching, worshipping, praising, praying, loving.....all because of Christ!

Passions desire...reaching the nations for Christ!!!!

Thank ya'll for all of your prayers! We know that God worked through lives this week! We had about about 40 in our group....there was about 24,000 total at the conference. To see that many people worship Jesus was amazing! There were people all over the world...Asia, Mexico, Iraq.....too many to name.....! Every state in the US had someone there at the conference! We heard from God through people such as John Piper, Beth Moore, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin...and many more! I wrote down some stats that I wanted to share with you guys, but there's just too many...so to make a long thing short....there was over a half million dollars raised for various causes around the world, thousands of people praying for these as well....and then on top of that there was enough money raised to translate the Bible for two different people groups in Indonesia....everyone from the Dala and the Reku (i have no clue about spelling) people groups will soon be getting a Bible in their very own language! And there was so much extra money for this specific outreach that they are looking for a third people group to translate the Bible! Amazing!
Above all else, Christ was magnified this week! I trust that we all left with more of a vision for ourselves to know Christ more, but also for the world to know Christ.
