Good News....

David and I went to the Doctor this week to check on our "littlest"...it was great news! In the Doctor's words, "I think this one is gonna stick!" Isn't God good!?! She said that almost everything looked good and healthy. There was one little thing that we have to keep in check...she said I shouldn't exercise or be too strenuous...just walking for a while. But besides that, everything was on the right track! Thank you guys for all your prayers! We'll keep you updated!

John David also had his one year check up this past week. His reports were all good as well! He is 90% in weight, 90% in head circumference (I'm not sure why they check that), and 95% in height. So, in other words...he's a big ole boy! The Doctor said that the only bad thing was that he was going to be expensive...expensive to feed, expensive to keep changing his growing shoe size, and expensive to buy his hats in the grown up section instead of the baby section:-)~ I guess he's worth it;-) He's such a joy! I think I am even more excited about this little baby inside me because now I truly know what a joy it is to be a mom. What a blessing.

What a man!

I was having some bike trouble and John David came to the rescue!

The wild thing about these pictures is that it wasn't staged...i went to get a water bottle, leaving John David with a couple tools that I was using, I came back to see him working on the bike himself! What a man! Fixing Mom's bike for her!

Birthday Boy!

April 18th, 2007
John David has been with us one entire year! Yah!

Praise God for the joy, protection, and love that he has lavished on us! What a year of precious memories and unforgettable God-sent lessons of His wonderful essence. God's character is flawless. We praise Him for John David's special life...such a blessing! When John David was born we wanted to "give" him a verse for his time under our direction. We pray this over him as we guide him in the light of God's Word.
Psalm 1
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the
counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of
sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he
meditates day and night. He is like
a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its
fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff that the wind blows away...
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous..."

He can't wait for his party tonight:-)
He woke up bright and early this morning...a quarter after 6 and ready for a big day of partying!

This Easter was quite the exciting trip...

First we had to play on the coolest backyard swing ever!
Then we went to Build A Bear to celebrate Kali's birthday!
Meet their own little creations....
Then we ended up tired and in the floor at Belk's...trying to make shopping a little more fun....
The Natural Science Center was a highlight! It was a blast!

Then back home....a little relaxation...

...and a little practice for John David...the big brother!

Did I say relaxation??!

The fun never stopped...
Then we woke up to Easter!

Karli, the younger one....she's the life of the party! Her little body must not fool you!

Then back to playing!

Now it's time to celebrate John David's first birthday!

Kase blocked John David's shot....
That's okay...John David recovered!

Cake time....

I think he likes it!
yeah...pretty sure...

He demolished it!

Then we found John David's twin....

We had so much fun.....
Now we're home trying to recover from all the excitement!

Thank you all so much for all of your prayers! God is so good! We went to the doctor today for a second ultrasound to see how things were looking... everything looked great! All of my blood work came back in and the levels were good, the ultrasound looked strong, everything was awesome!! We even got to hear the heartbeat! Praise Him! I'll be due in the end of November....A little Thanksgiving baby! How fitting!
Ps. 139:14…I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
